Say, I need to ask you a question and guess I'll ruin your video post by doing it here.
I have problems putting in YouTube stuff. I was wanting to embed this video (and others) but no joy. I see where you've reduced the size, and I've used the exact same coding as you (looked at the source) but I still get the red X and Blogger strips some of the code out.
Wonder what I'm doing wrong?

I was having trouble at first with the youtube vids also, but I found if I just stayed on the "edit html" side of things and puiblish from there, it would work; somehow once you go into the compose mode it strips half the code away, I don't know why as I really dont understand much about the blogger code anyway. well I *think* thats how I did it anyway! lol these videos were resized from their default dimensions, which I think are just too large for blogger and most blogs to look good in a post.. I just kept the ration the same and it seemes to resize to whatever you want, just changing those numbers.
You know come to think of it, Ihad the same problem on my own site using Moveable Type, it would work fine publishing it from the html edit, but the rich text editor would wreak havoc with the code.. Well try it that way, staying out of compose mode, and see if it works for ya.
I meant to say something to you the other day, I cant get any of those videozone ones on your posts to play for me at all. I was wondering if it was a site you have to be reisgtered, as maybe you being signed in to get the codes, you can see them, but those who aren't registered just get a black silent screen! :( Alison sadi she couldn't view them either. We didnt have a rpoblem with the Clint Black vid you psoted for us, but I think that was from another site wasn't it? just a heads up ;)
Hey I'm off the next 2 days if you need to caompare notes on some of this blogger stuff.. I'm just learning too as I go, except for the message boards in groups, I like blogger a whole lot better!! and I can publish it to my domain too.. if I ever figure out the damn code! lol

Ok one thing I don't care for is the ability to edit comments~ my typing is getting worse somehow as I get older. ration instead of ratio.. sheesh! lol

I don't think I'm signed into that VZ site, there's always a sign-in thing, and I'm sure I signed up just to get new news, but I just don't know.
I think what some of those are is that I go back in and set them to not autostart and to not repeat. (I'm going to re-do the ZZ Top one, it's a GREAT vid) They fit just fine in a post, and I'm thinking if you click on the player, then it will start for you. I know I've clicked the play button and had them pause when I should've just left it alone.
Still thinking of getting my own web site, at least get some space where I can store some .js files, some applet class files.
